Separating materials

As scientists we are looking at how different mixtures can be separated through filtering, sieving and evaporating. During our experiments, we are making systematic and careful observations and, where appropriate, taking accurate measurements using standard units and a range of different scientific equipment including scales, sieves, filters etc . Through our scientific enquiries we can also make predictions, observations and evaluations about what are findings/data may and do tells us.
