Where does my food come from?
Learners will answer the question as geographers and scientists leaning about food coming from many different places all over the world. They will need to consolidate their knowledge around the continents and oceans as they explore origins. As artists, we will explore the work of Guiseppe Arcimboldi and use foods from many origins to create artistic sculptures of their own. We learn about food that comes from our town Malvern and our direct locality. As designers will plan, make and evaluate a dish that only uses locally produce food. As historians, we will consider the question has food always been the same and explore continuity and change of food over the decades.
