I am incredibly proud to be the Executive Headteacher of Malvern Wells CE Primary School. It is a privilege to lead a school that is not only rooted in strong values, but alive with warmth, ambition and a genuine sense of belonging.

At Malvern Wells, we are a welcoming community where every child and every family is known, valued and respected. We are proud to be an Ofsted recognised good school, and we continue to build on this with clarity, care and high expectations for all.

Our vision, Let Your Light Shine, sits at the heart of everything we do. It reflects our belief that every child carries something unique within them. Our role is to nurture that light, to give children the confidence to take risks, make mistakes and grow, and to ensure they know they are unconditionally loved by God.

Set within the stunning Malvern Hills, our school holds a natural sense of presence. We often speak of being a school on a hill, a light in the darkness. This is not just about our setting, but about who we are. We strive to be a place of hope, stability and belonging for the children and families we serve.

Our community has a strong family feel, where relationships matter and where children are supported to flourish both academically and personally. There is a sense of joy here, alongside a shared commitment to helping every child become the brightest version of themselves.

Our curriculum is carefully designed to ensure children acquire and build knowledge over time, alongside developing strong subject specific skills. Learning is purposeful and thoughtfully sequenced, with opportunities to revisit and embed knowledge so that it is truly retained. We want our children to leave us not only knowing more, but able to use what they know with confidence.

We are fortunate to have extensive grounds that enrich our provision and provide space for exploration, play and discovery. These experiences are not an add on, but an important part of how children learn, grow in confidence and develop a love of the world around them.

Most importantly, Malvern Wells is a place where children feel safe, supported and inspired. A place where they are encouraged to be curious, to be courageous and to shine in their own way.
