Oh I do like to be beside the seaside.... Now and in the past

Oh I do like to be beside the seaside.

Provisionally, we answer the question 'Why do Malvernians love to be beside the seaside?' and we explore the human and physical features of British beaches, comparing them to the geography of our own locality. We then look at beaches from around our world, observing and comparing.  We then look at sculptures who primarily work on the seaside and create beach sculptures, comaparing them to the work of local sculptor Rose Garrard. We will develop our proficiency as sculpotrs creating our own seaside scultpures. Then the project moves to answer 'Have Malvernians always loved to be beside the sea?' considering what seaside holidays were like in the past compared to now.
