Our school’s vision is firmly rooted in biblical principles:

LET YOUR LIGHT SHINE reflects the words of Matthew 5:14 and speaks to the call for each of us to live as a light in the world. It also draws on the truth spoken by Jesus, “I am the light of the world,” and the reminder that a lamp on a stand cannot be hidden. Light is not meant to be kept small or unseen. It is there to bring hope, to give direction and to shine into darkness.

At Malvern Wells, we believe that every child carries a light within them, sometimes quiet and unseen at first, but full of potential. Our role is to nurture that light so it grows in confidence and strength, enabling children to shine not only within our school, but into our community, our town and the wider world.

Rooted in this belief, we encourage children to live out our values of compassion, commitment, courage and community. When children know they are unconditionally loved by God, they are able to step forward with confidence, persevere through challenge and flourish as the brightest version of themselves, ready to make a meaningful difference beyond our school.
