Science

We aim to inspire in the children a sense of inquiry and excitement about their immediate environment and the wonder of the world. The children are encouraged to explore with their senses and experience a wide range of activities: making light bulbs work with simple series circuits; building model houses with working electric lights; constructing motorised vehicles; conducting experiments with magnetic force fields; investigations into different materials; understanding the principles of fair testing. Science is taught as a subject in its own right or as a carefully planned part of an integrated teaching topic.
