We aim to ensure that all children have as wide a range of opportunities as possible in the use of computer hardware and software, allowing them to become increasingly confident and competent in the use of Information Technology.

 

ICT is a valuable aid and through understanding the possibilities of its applications children increasingly grow in their ability to utilise ICT as a tool for learning. Each classroom here at Malvern Wells is equipped with a range of computer equipment, including a number of modern, networked workstations, each running the latest software and interactive, touch sensitive whiteboards with data projectors, helping teachers to deliver learning more effectively in all areas of the curriculum.

 

We operate of rolling scheme of improvement and expansion of our ICT equipment, to ensure that we always have up to date equipment at our disposal to meet the needs of our staff and children. We locate our computers in classrooms at the point of learning so that they are always available for pupils’ use.
